Soap Opera Weekly Ratings October 10-14: ‘DOOL’ Ratings Down, ‘Y&R’ ‘B&B’ And ‘GH’ Gain Total ViewersThe soap opera ratings for the week of October 10-14 have been reported by Soap Opera Network. After a drop in the ratings the previous week, ‘The Bold and The Beautiful’ won back total viewers and women 18-49, as did ‘The Young and the Restless.’ Ratings were up for ‘General Hospital’ in overall viewership, but the ratings with women 18-49 dropped. ‘Days of Our Lives’ ratings were down for both total viewers and women 18-49.

Days of Our Lives

‘DOOL’ ratings for the week of October 10-14 total viewer ratings dropped after two straight weeks of higher ratings. The daytime drama had 2,208,000 watching, that is a loss of 10,000 total viewers over the previous week. ‘Days of Our Lives’ ratings with women 18-49 were also down. A total of 378,000 viewers from this demographic tuned in. This represents a loss of 16,000 in this category.

General Hospital

‘GH’ ratings were down again with total viewers the week of October 10 through October 14. With 2,691,000 turned in that is a gain of 20,000 viewers in this category. After three straight weeks of increased ratings in the women 18-49 demographic, ‘GH’ lost 3,000 viewers with 454,000 tuned in. That’s a loss of 3,000 viewers in this category from the previous week.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Soap Opera Network reports an increase in ratings for ‘B&B’ across the board for the week of October 10-14. With 3,771,000 total viewers tuned in, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ won back 52,000 total viewers. Women 18-49 returned to ‘B&B’ with 510,000 watching, a gain of 23,000 viewers in this demographic.

The Young and the Restless

‘Y&R’ ratings for October 10-14 were up in the most important demographics. With 4,511,000 total viewers, ‘The Young and the Restless’ won back 61,000 viewers compared to the previous week. The soap opera also gained in the ratings with women 18-49 demographic with 598,000 tuned in. That’s a gain of 25,000 from the previous week.
