‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Shocking Julexis Twist Unfolds On Thanksgiving – Alexis Sneaks Away For A Drink, Reaches Breaking Point

General Hospital’s Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has been giving fans a run for their money.  When she fell back in love with Julian Jerome (William DeVry), things finally seemed like her life was happy and functioning well.  To Alexis’ surprise, Julian had not only lied about still being involved in the mob, and was in fact the head of the Jerome crime family; he also attempted to kill her with the very dagger Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) used to slit her own mother’s throat.

Once the truth came out about Julian, Alexis seemed to spiral faster and faster out of control; drowning her sorrows in whatever bottle of alcohol she could find.  As Thanksgiving dinner is approaching, alongside November sweeps, fans will be happy to hear that this might finally be the time Alexis gets her ‘wake-up call’ and starts to get things together; but not before she does some damaging things she might not be able to come back from.

After young Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) funeral, Alexis went out for a drink with her beloved friend Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), she woke up the next morning half-naked in a seedy hotel.  She does not recall much from the night before, but she vaguely remembers Jax sharing his concerns about Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier).  Jax who was going to call her daughters for an intervention stops, and both promise to keep each other’s secrets.

On General Hospital, Thanksgiving is usually a time you see the families of Port Charles gather for a dinner of sorts.  Alexis, as the Matriarch of the Davis family, is the one chosen to host the dinner, and since her daughters are being super vigilant about her drinking any alcohol, sources reveal that Alexis is going to make an excuse to leave the house for a quick drink.

Alexis is desperate to escape reality, even if it’s for a few minutes, but her escape is anything but a peaceful retreat when she ends up at the same place as Julian; instead of leaving the bar and returning to her family awaiting dinner, she orders more and more alcohol.
