On the heels of the news yesterday (09/14/16) that Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine) was leaving “General Hospital” (GH) rumors are swirling that Bryan Craig (Morgan Corinthos) is also departing.
This morning Daytime Confidential’s writer Jeremy Giddens who often breaks soap news reports, “Bryan has opted to leave the Soap Opera.”
Bryan has played the character of Morgan since 2013 when he was first approached to play the role he was hesitant to do a Soap but his parents convinced him to take the role. In 2016 Bryan won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.
Bryan’s “GH” character Morgan Corinthos is currently in the middle of an important story arc where his girlfriend Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) mother Ava Jerome (Maura West) is messing with his bipolar disorder meds. Add to this Morgan’s brother Michael (Chad Duell) just lost his significant other, Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) and the loss of Bryan Craig is going to leave a big void in the Port Charles landscape.
So far Daytime Confidential’s claims are not confirmed by the sudser but we will update you as more news is available. What do you think “General Hospital” fans? Will you be sad to see Bryan leave?

I hated him as Morgan when he first started but he’s grown on me. So yeah, it would be a loss. But if it’s Bryan’s decision than I always support that.
Yes he has grown on us too and of course we support his decision but will be sad to see him leave!

I didn’t like him at first either but he has grown on me. I sure hope they don’t kill off Morgan, he is part of a main family and there will be a spot for him. Unfortunately I think he might regret his choice if he leaves.
Wouldn’t bother me at all. I would rather KiKi be with Dillon anyway. My only hope is that his departure is by death (if he’s sure he won’t be coming back) or he’s put in a coma (if there’s a possibility he may come back later) at the hands of AVA so Sonny will have her sneaky, conniving, hateful, lying ass killed for messing with Morgan’s medicine. I believe that’s the perfect scenario to be rid of her. Sonny already warned her not to hurt his family. Works out perfect, hahaha!
