‘General Hospital’ POLL: Dillon Quartermaine and Nina Clay Friends or Lovers? VOTE!

'General Hospital' POLL: Dillon Quartermaine and Nina Clay Friends or Lovers? VOTE!It appears that ‘General Hospital’ is brimming with “hot and steamy” love matches this summer! Wow! First on that summer romance list we have: Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Liz Webber-Spencer (Rebecca Herbst), known as —”Friz”. Are they going to be a Love Story or a Nightmare? It’s too soon to tell on that couple!

Now, we come to our second pairing: Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) and Nina Reeves-Clay (Michelle Stafford). Dillon works for Nina at Crimson Magazine as its staff photographer… but, as we’ve seen on more than one occasion… Nina, by the looks of things, has the hots for Dillon! But Dillon is showing he’s far more level-headed than Nina has been lately… especially when it comes to affairs of the heart. Dillon is in his mid-twenties and Nina is in her mid-forties. We’ve already seen her, while under the influence of a “long, tall Martini,” throw herself at Dillon…then pass out… much to the obvious relief, and embarrassment for Dillon. When Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) comes into Nina’s apartment (where she’s staying temporarily) he struggled to pull his shirt from under a passed out, Nina and put it on.

The pro’s and con’s of this becoming a full-blown serious relationship, at this point, look sketchy. But, who knows? It could work… right?

SHOULD THIS RELATIONSHIP \ ROMANCE HAPPEN?

THE “UP” SIDE

Pro #1: Dillon is level-headed and very mature for his age.
Pro #2: He’s single-minded in what he wants.
Pro #3: He’s got a good job.
Pro #4: He’s stable in that he has family ties in Port Charles.

THE “DOWN” SIDE:

Con #1: Getting involved with Nina would jeopardize what he may have with Kiki.
Con #2: The relationship at work would become strained and uncomfortable.
Con #3: Co-worker relationships have a tendency to end badly.

The further downside of Dillon giving into Nina: It could end up destroying him career-wise; especially if the relationship should sour or end badly. Dillon thoroughly enjoys his work at Crimson, even though he’s not making movies; he is creating art. He is capturing visions on celluloid… and will show his work on a more visible “screen” — that of glossy magazine pages — way more views than a movie theater.
