‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Marci Miller Confirms ‘DOOL’ Casting, Shares Message With Fans

‘Days Of Our Lives‘ fans were devastated months ago when Kate Mansi announced that she was leaving ‘DOOL.‘  Spoilers indicated that TPTB at the NBC soap opera were planning on recasting the role of Abigail Deveraux, but ‘Days‘ fans were skeptical about a new actress taking on the role.  This week ‘DOOL’ spoilers revealed that soap newcomer Marci Miller had landed the gig, and the young actress is eager to try and fill Mansi’s shoes and do the Salem character justice.

Marci Miller took to social media today to thank the cast and crew at ‘Days Of Our Lives‘ for giving her such an amazing opportunity.  The actress went on to praise Kate Mansi, and expressed how hard it would be to try and live up to ‘DOOL‘ fans’ expectations of Abigail Deveraux.

Marci Miller shared this message to ‘Days’ fans on Instagram, “So grateful for your LOVE and PATIENCE as I take this very big, very scary, and very exciting step!@katemansi has laid a beautiful foundation that any actor in their right mind would be equally thrilled and terrified to step into! Rooting for her ALL THE WAY as she winds down in these next few weeks on #DOOL.”

Miller concluded her post by saying, “Truly a joy to get to be a part of this family. Much love. Xx”  And, she also shared a photo of herself clutching the ‘Days Of Our Lives‘ 50th Anniversary book that the cast and crew were promoting in 2015.
