‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Jen Lilley Reportedly Leaving ‘DOOL,’ Theresa Donovan Leaving Salem?

‘Days Of Our Lives’ spoilers tease that ‘DOOL’ is about to lose another central actress, and Jen Lilley has quit the NBC soap opera.  According to Jamey Giddens at Daytime Confidential, Jen Lilley gave her notice a while ago and has chosen to leave the role of Theresa Donovan.

Daytime Confidential reported on Saturday, May 28, “I’m hearing from multiple sources Jen Lilley has chosen to vacate the role of Theresa Donovan on NBC’s Days of Our Lives.”  The report comes as a shock to ‘Days‘ fans, Jen Lilley has been a member of the cast since July 2013.  At first, the character of Theresa Donovan didn’t settle well with viewers, but over the past few years she has grown on all of us, and she will be greatly missed.

It doesn’t look like ‘Days Of Our Lives’ will be recasting the role, instead, Theresa Donovan will be leaving the canvas.  It is unclear how exactly what will all go down, though.  Earlier this week ‘DOOL‘ spoilers revealed that Theresa’s parents Kimberly Brady and Shane Donovan will be returning to Salem.  It looks like they will be part of Theresa’s exit.
