‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Daniel Cosgrove’s ‘DOOL’ Return Confirmed – Aiden Jennings Back From The Dead?

‘Days Of Our Lives’ spoilers confirm that Daniel Cosgrove IS returning to ‘DOOL.’  The constant cries from angry Aiden Jennings fans, played by Daniel Cosgrove, has finally been heard. With the dissolving of their super couple ‘Haiden’ (Hope Brady played by Kristian Alfonso and Aiden Jennings) fans took twitter to voice their disagreement with producers decision to kill off the character. Last we saw Aiden, he met his demise after attempting to strangle his wife Hope. Aiden was presumed dead after Bo (Peter Reckell) killed him.

Recently we posted of Cosgrove’s rumored returned after hearing from fans that they saw TV commercials with Cosgrove on the cover hinting his return to the NBC sudser. Now we can confirm that he is indeed back at the studios filming again according to an article in the latest Soap Opera Digest magazine issue.

We know that the whole lot of Cosgrove’s fans are excited to see the actor’s return on the show but cannot say if he is reprising the role of the deceased Aiden Jennings. No further details were released on the character he will play. We also know that soap operas are custom to receiving dead characters or rehiring former actors to play new roles.

So which one will it be? Is it possible that the former Aiden was a doppelganger hired by the DiMeras and we are about to see the real Mr. Jennings? Is Aiden still dead and returning as a ghost to his son Chase (Jonathan McClendon)?  Well you would have to stay tuned to Days to find out, Cosgrove’s first appearance will be in late spring.
