‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Tuesday September 2: Victor Sues Chelsea, Jack Warned of Looming Peril, Sharon Admits Not Taking Meds

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday September 2, 2015 reveal that the Abbott Family may not be behind the Paragon Project and both the Abbotts and the Newmans could be at risk from another source. Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) moves ahead in his plan to prevent Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) from moving to Paris with Adam. (Justin Hartley)
The September 2, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with Sharon (Sharon Case) telling Dylan (Steve Burton) that he is right she has been keeping something from him. Sharon says she feels guilty because she went off her meds for a few days. Dylan asks why she did it.
Sage (Kelly Sullivan) tells Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she thinks their wedding was perfect and she is impressed how well his parents took not being invited. Sage tells Nick she thinks she is in a good place with Victor right now. Nick looks sceptical.
Noah (Robert Adamson) tells Marisa (Sofia Pernas) he wants to trust her but he is shocked all she cares about is money. Marisa claims she never accepted Victor’s offer and Victor walks in and says she did. Marisa accuses Victor is lying!
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tells her Mom Anita (Catherine Bach) that Victor is trying to control her and Connor. Anita reminds Chelsea that Victor holds the key to the golden egg and she wonders if Chelsea wants to give it all up for Gabriel. (Justin Hartley) Chelsea says she loves him and wants to stay far away from Victor.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) calls security and asks them to check the firewall on Newman Enterprises and Adam comes into the office and asks, “Still paranoid someone is trying to destroy the old man?”
Billy (Burgess Jenkins) tells Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that IT scoured Jack’s (Peter Bergman) computer and found no mention of the Paragon Project. Jack walks in, overhears and is not pleased. Ashley asks Billy what they found.
Sharon tells Dylan she had been doing some researching online and there was some scary stuff and she stopped taking her pills. Dylan tells her she cannot just stop. Sharon lies and says Mariah (Camryn Grimes) called her on it and she was nice too her. Dylan asks her if she is back on her meds and Sharon agrees she is and Dylan is happy to know she is back on track. Sharon apologizes for not telling him.
Adam tells Victoria he would not be in Genoa City if it was not for Victor and the only reason Victor wants them in GC is for Connor. Adam tries to reason with Victoria he tells her to think of it as a mother would. Victoria refuses to listen and says, “It is just business and Chelsea signed the contract of her own free will.”
Noah asks Victor if he is saying Marisa came to him for money. Victor reminds Noah who Marisa is, she was running with a known drug dealer. Victor tells Noah because of who Marisa ran with he assumed she would take money. Marisa gets pissed, tears up his check and tells Victor to keep his damn money. Noah tells Victor he cannot interfere in his life. Victor warns Noah, “Falling for a beautiful body and face is dangerous.” Marisa thanks Noah for supporting her and Noah tells her not to jump to conclusions.
Billy tells Jack and Ashley IT found nothing on Jack’s computer and Jack does not appear to be involved in the Paragon Project. Jack is offended and Billy refuses to apologize because Jack has been a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide the past few months.
Ashley thinks Jack’s timing is convenient and she thinks perhaps Jack is making her a scapegoat. Jack denies everything. Ashley tells Jack her first order of business is getting Chelsea by Jabot back.
Nick hopes Victor is too busy with his life try and interfere with his and Sage’s life.
Dylan calls Nick he tells Nick, “It is Sharon.”
Sharon comes into Crimson Lights and sees Anita and Chelsea and comments how big Connor is. Chelsea congratulates Sharon on being pregnant.
Victoria tells Adam he does not know Victor and she feels Adam has just created someone horrible so he can have an excuse for revenge. Victoria lets Adam know that Victor cares about his family and he is a wonderful grandfather to Connor. Victor walks in and says; “Don’t bother defending me to that man.” Adam lets Victor know he and Chelsea are going to Paris and Victor cannot win this time. Victor tells Adam he can use all his limited powers but he won’t prevent him from doing what is best for his family.
Dylan meets Nick at The Athletic Club and tells Nick about Sharon going off her meds. Dylan is concerned he thought he understood Sharon better than anyone and now he is not too sure. Nick blames himself in part for Sharon’s mental illness but he thinks Dylan is good for her. Nick thinks perhaps Sharon is feeling vulnerable.
Sharon calls Mariah to get her on the right page just in case Dylan questions her.
Noah thinks Victor has crossed some boundaries but he is unclear on Marisa’s motivation. Marisa thinks Victor sent the check to make Noah doubt her and assures Noah she has never had what she has with Noah. Marisa feels Noah’s love means more than $$ but maybe Noah thinks she is not good enough for him. She goes to leave and Noah pulls her back and kisses her.
Victoria speaks to Victor about Chelsea and tells him she does not think Victor antagonizing Gabriel is smart. Victoria asks Victor if he intends to take Connor away from Chelsea. Victor denies he would ever do that but, he won’t let Gabriel Bingham influencer her. Victoria warns Victor Gabriel is a threat he should not take lightly.
Adam comes into Crimson Lights and comes over to Chelsea and Anita. Chelsea thinks Adam is in a mood and he tells her what happened when he stopped by to appeal to Victoria as a mother. Adam tells Chelsea they need allies someone who can take their side against Victor.
Dylan lets Nick know he has supported Sharon in every way but maybe Sharon thinks the reason he proposed to her is because of the baby.
Jack realizes his behaviour might have seemed inconsistent but… Billy also thinks it is odd Jack appointed Ashley as CEO, he wants to know the real reason he did it. Jack says he has lost his taste for fighting. Billy tells Jack he is there for him and leaves.
Jack starts clearing his desk off and sees a picture of his father, sits down and starts writing a letter to Ashley.
Ashley comes into Victor’s off and Victoria is still there she tells them she had her legal look over the contracts and Chelsea does not have to give her company up. Victor agrees she did not have to but she does have to stay in GC. Ashley realizes that the move on Victor’s part was all about Connor. Victoria leaves and Ashley tells Victor that Jack has stepped down and she is the new CEO. Victor says, “I will be damned just when I thought the day could not get better.”
Dylan comes home and he wonders why Sharon is home. Meanwhile, Sharon’s ovulation kits has fallen out of her purse.
Sage (Kelly Sullivan) walks in and interrupts Noah and Marisa kissing. Noah leaves to get something and Marisa tells Sage Victor sent her a check for $500,000 and tried to convince Noah that she accepted it. Marisa is upset how she had to defend herself, she warns Sage NOT to underestimate Victor. Nick walks in and overhears.
Billy and Victoria meet at The Dive Bar and Billy asks how her father the curse is. Victoria tells Billy Victor has no intention of trying to take Connor. Billy really hopes he doesn’t but does not think they can trust Victor.
Anita gives Chelsea and Adam her blessing to go to Paris with Connor. Adam tells Chelsea they should get on the next plane to Paris, to hell with Victor Newman. Chelsea is thrilled.
Jack is at The Athletic Club and Victor comes over, he tells him he has good news and Victor says, “It is a dangerous time for your sister to take over the company.” Jack tells Victor that Billy and Chelsea have been looking for evidence on The Paragon Project and there is no evidence it exists. Jack says, “You bringing Marco Annicelli into our lives was for not. So you can live with the knowledge you brought a psychopath into town. Good luck sleeping!” Victor tells him to hold up and he asks Jack if he thinks it is over.
Sharon slyly puts her ovulation kit away and Dylan says he wants to talk to her in private. Dylan tells Sharon they have no secrets and she can tell him anything. Dylan says, “I love you and I am with you because I have chosen to be with you it is not because of the baby it is because of you.”
Nick assures Sage that what happened to Noah and Marisa is not going to affect them. Sage is not sure that Victor can be stopped if he wants to push her aside once she gives birth.
Billy asks Victoria what is to stop Victor from trying to stop them from moving away with their kids. Victoria wants to know if she and Billy are back together.
Ashley is moving things around her desk and sees a note that her father wrote to Jack saying he was proud of him, she smiles. Under the letter is a note to Ashley from Jack saying, “Dear Ashley, I know you will too and I’m always her for you. Love Jack”
Victor tells Jack he has always viewed him as a worthy adversary but if he has begun to doubt the Paragon Project than Victor thinks he is a liar or a fool. Victor tells Jack he is convinced an Abbott is behind the project. Jack warns him not to use that as another reason to go after his family. Victor tells him, “If an Abbott is not involved in this then someone is very interested in seeing both our companies go down in flames. So you ignore me at your peril.”
Chelsea and Adam are packing their things up at Crimson Lights and a man comes in and gives Chelsea an envelope and tells her, “You have been served.”
Adam looks at the paper Victor is suing for visitation and until the matter is solved neither Chelsea or Connor can leave town.
