‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers July 2: Victor Caught Smothering Jack After He Identifies The Moustache As Shooter – Marisa Threatens Adam at Chelsea’s House

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for July 2, 2015 reveal that Paul got the ballistic report in and the gun he found in Victor’s safe was not the gun that shot Jack. Victor makes a decision and calls Ashley, Chelsea and Gabriel to come to his office when they get there he lets them know that he has decided to appoint Gabriel as head of Newman Jabot. Ashley is shocked! Meanwhile, Jack comes out of his coma and points to Victor as the person who shot him.
The Y&R July 2, 2015 episode opens with Gabriel [Justin Hartley] sitting by Jack’s [Peter Bergman] hospital bed. Gabriel apologizes to Jack and says, “It was not suppose to happen this way if I had know it was you I would never have let it happen. When I came back you were the only one that trusted me I am so glad you are back. Jack there is a women who called me and they know who I am I don’t know if you trust her but I cannot have people running around who know who I am. Victor set us up he took away everything I own and he did this to you. Everything that happened here Victor set it up with that Marco fellow. He did this to you and I am going to make him pay for everything he did.”
Ashley [Eileen Davidson] & Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] are talking outside the hospital room. They are discussing why Gabriel is in the hospital room with Jack. Phyllis says it looks like he is working Jack and begging him to stay alive. Phyllis says she wonders if it is for her benefit. Ashley says she does not believe it and wonder why Gabriel was at the Park when Jack was shot? Ashley thinks it was too much of a coincidence. Phyllis thinks Gabriel and Victor [Eric Braeden] were in cahoots!
Ashley says the DNA results will back soon then they will really know whether Gabriel is an Abbott or not.
Nick [Joshua Morrow] is suspicious and is grilling Victor with many questions. Nick is surprised because he says he has never known Victor to carry a gun. Nick wants to know what is up with that. Nick asks Victor if someone pushed him too far and Victor pushed back?
Noah [Robert Adamson] & Marisa [Sophia Pernas] are talking and Noah verified what she told him and found out she was not really being straight with him. Marisa says, “I am really tired of being taken advantage of.”
Back at Genoa City Police Department Kevin [Gregg Rikaart], Paul & Mariah are looking at Surveillance footage before the camera was turned off. Kevin says, “Look at that a few minutes later and this is from the same video tape.” They are seeing Jack walk back and forth and they don’t understand how he can be at two places at the same time. Kevin knows there is nothing wrong with the tape so everyone is confused. Kevin knows he is going to figure out what is going on. He also knows that what happened to Jack is connected to what happened to their friends.
Paul [Doug Davidson] gets a phone the ballistics are in on Victor’s gun, the gun has not been fired in a long. Kevin says, “So that means Victor was not the shooter?” Paul says, “I am not saying that I am just saying that the gun was not shot not that Victor did not shoot him!”
Nick goes to see Noah and they talk about Victor maybe shooting Jack. Nick says, “I want you and Summer to stay away from Victor I don’t want you to have anything to do with him.” Noah refuses he says, “I am going to see my grandfather!” Nick tells Noah that he does not think Victor is going to get away with shooting Jack.
Nick goes to see Victor and he tells him off he tells Victor he wants nothing to do with him anymore. Victor says okay, “Go with God!”
Sage [Kelly Sullivan] comes to the hospital and sees Ashley and Phyllis talking about Gabriel. Sage says, “Gabriel hates Victor.” Ashley and Phyllis tear a strip of Sage. Gabriel walks out of the room and says, “Leave her alone!” Then Gabriel’s phone rings and it is Victor and he tells Gabriel to come to a meeting. Ashley and Phyllis leaves and Sage says, “I never thought you would you get hooked up with anymore trouble wffith Victor and I wish I didn’t know. I am really in a complex situation I could be in trouble because I know you are Adam Newman. When they get the DNA back they will know who you are.” Gabriel tells her to calm down that is already taken care of.
Phyllis is in the room with Jack and she tells him how much she loves him and he has to get up. She tells him she thinks Gabriel and Victor are in cahoots. She tells Jack he has to come back to her.
Back at The Underground Noah and Marisa are talking. Marisa tells Noah if her boyfriend comes back it will be to shut her up. Noah asks Marisa if she is staying in town. Noah offers Marisa a job at The Underground. Sage walks in when Marisa is putting her Underground shirt on. Sage is not thrilled but Noah tells her he does the hiring.
Phyllis is talking to Jack still and Paul comes in the hospital room and tells Victor the gun he found in Victor’s safe was not the gun that shot Jack.
Victor, Ashley, Gabriel and Chelsea are in Victor’s office. Victor tells them, “I’m am making Jack’s son Gabriel Bingham the head of Newman Jabot. Ashley freaks out and says, “I want you all to leave the room, I need to talk to Victor. Why didn’t you tell Billy and Victoria this you know they would tear this place apart? Gabriel saw you shoot Jack right?” Victor says, “It is up to me who I make head of the company.”
Chelsea and Gabriel talk about Gabriel being head of Jabot Newman. Chelsea tells Gabriel when he talks about bringing Victor down his eyes change. Gabriel tells her the only think he is worried about now is Jack. Chelsea is worried about how much Gabriel hates Victor she does not want him to go down the same path as Adam.
Victor goes to see Jack and Phyllis tells Victor to back off. Victor says to Jack, “I just came to tell you the good news.” Phyllis says, “You shot my husband and you nearly killed him.” Jack wakes up and Phyllis says, “Who shot you, you have to tell me” Jack points to Victor! Phyllis runs to get help, Phyllis gets back and Victor is standing over Jack with a pillow and putting it over his head about to smother him.
Chelsea is in a towel kissing Gabriel she says she has to get ready, she leaves and there is a knock at the door. Gabriel answers the door and it is Marisa she says, “It’s me I told you I would be in touch “
That is it “The Young and the Restless” fans! Nick has decided to disown his father, how long do you think it is going to take him to forgive Victor. Ballistics proved that the gun they found in Victor’s safe was not the gun that shot Jack. Who has the gun that shot Victor? What is Phyllis going to do now that she caught Victor trying to smother Jack.
