‘The Young and the Restless’ Rumors: Spring Stork News – Who is Pregnant, DNA Test Trickery and Baby Drama

You get a baby! You get a baby ! You get a baby! Everybody gets a baby!!

It seems spring has sprung more than just flowers in Genoa City. Let’s take a look at possible baby stories in the next The Young and the Restless sweeps month.

DNA SWITCH: Victoria Newman [Amelia Heinle] just gave birth to Katherine Rose Abbott Newman. Of course baby Kate’s paternity was in question at the time.  Remember, Victoria slept with her then husband Billy Abbott [Burgess Jenkins] and at the same time she had a drunken one night stand with Dr Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn. [Sean Carrigan] We had a year of wondering who the baby daddy was.  Eventually Victoria agreed to a DNA test and it turned out Billy was the father of her baby. Or was he, was the DNA test changed, is Ben the real father to Katherine Rose? I have a feeling we will see yet another DNA story in the near future. We all know her father Victor [Eric Braeden] loves to change paternity tests!

ONE NIGHT STANDS: On The Young and the Restless we all know that one last minute romp in the shower usually leads to an unexpected pregnancy. I’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop with Ashley Abbott. [Eileen Davidson] Ashley got involved with a totally drunk Ben (Stitch) in the Jabot shower late night one night while they were working. Ben went back to Vicky and asked Ashley to keep their indiscretion quiet. Ben is currently in love with Victoria but rumor has it his bodyguarding of Ashley’s daughter Abby turns into more than just the traditional bodyguard work.  Will Ashley or Abby turn up pregnant by Dr. Ben?

PREGNANCY POSSIBILITY: Hilary, [Mishael Morgan], Devon and Neil triangle. This story is the typical girl has an affair with two men, but in this case the two men are father and son. Girl breaks up with the one she loves. [Devon] Girl is torn between the man she is in love with, Devon [Bryton James] and the one that she loves Neil [Kristoff St. James] as a friend. The viewers know who the baby daddy is because Hilary and Neil didn’t have sex since he lost his eyesight, Hilary could barely kiss him let alone have sex with him. Devon and Hilary were doing it everywhere and anytime they had the chance. After a horrible plane wreck and the truth coming to light about their affair Hillary could not bare to hurt this family anymore. Hilary decided to walk away from Devon so that his family would take him back into the fold. We all know how that works. Hilary will end up pregnant and Devon will take her back. But, of course it is not that cut and dry we have 9 whole months to wait and a lot can happen in 9 months.

PREGNANCY POSSIBILITY:  The adulteress Abby Newman. Abby [Melissa Ordway] what were you thinking, wait, you were not! It has been revealed that Abby Newman was having a torrid affair with her niece’s Summer [Hunter King] husband Austin Travers. [Matthew Atkinson] Austin the cad is now supposedly dead leaving poor widow Summer and mistress Abby to grieve. Abby feels that she and Austin had real love, which makes for a heartbreaking pregnancy. Question is not if she is going to be pregnant, it is when it will it be revealed that she is pregnant? They may even throw a twist in considering Abby and Ben (Stitch) may end up in the sack while he’s “guarding her body!”

PREGNANCY POSSIBILITY: Austin’s poor suffering wife, Summer Newman.  Summer [Hunter King] was married to the cheating, lying and deceiving Austin Travers.  Even though Austin was having an affair with Summer’s aunt he was still sleeping with Summer too.  So a Summer pregnancy is definitely in the cards.  Just think how delicious it will be if both Aunt and Niece are pregnant.  Summer will lose her mind if Abby is pregnant too.  But then again if Abby sleeps with Stitch (Ben) maybe it won’t be Austin’s baby after all.

PREGNANCY POSSIBILITY: Adam/Gabriel’s wife Chelsea Lawson. Poor Adam Newman [Justin Hartley] came back for this? His wife Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] is engaged to his archenemy Billy Boy Abbott? It has taken Chelsea quite awhile to move on from the love of her life, Adam. Billy Abbott and Chelsea had a common goal when they got together, to bring down Ben “Stitch” Rayburn. Ben was hanging around Billy’s ex-wife Victoria and Chelsea wanted to get Billy and Victoria back together. Chelsea was feeling guilty for what Adam did to Billy’s life; everyone thinks Adam ran over Billy’s little daughter Delia. While these two were on their Sherlock Holmes adventure, they fell in lust. During this time Adam was nursing his wounds from the accident caused by Billy shooting him, causing a car crash which resulted in the car to explode with Adam in it. While all this (flirting) was going down, Adam was back as another person [Gabriel Bingham] with a new face. I have a feeling when Adam and Chelsea finally get back together and she shows him the unconditional love and forgiveness he has been waiting for they will make love and then BAM Chelsea will be pregnant but by who?

PREGNANCY POSSIBILITY: Psyche ward patient Chloe Mitchell. Let’s not forget cloud coo coo land Chloe! [Elizabeth Hendrickson] Chloe left town after trying to get Billy into bed so that they could make another child to replace Delia. Chloe has been certifiable nutsy since Delia died. The last we saw of Chloe she begged Billy for another baby. When Billy refused she got him drunk and tried to seduce him, which did not work. So Chloe, who is crazy but not dumb came up with another idea and headed to the clinic where Billy stored his sperm, stole his sperm and inseminated herself with a turkey baster! (Only in Soaps) Let’s not forget during this time Chloe had sympathy sex with her husband Kevin. [Gregg Rikaart] No surprise Chloe ended up in the psyche ward and is scheduled to come back to GC soon, maybe for May sweeps? Another possible, “whose the daddy story!”

PREGNANCY POSSIBILITY: Psychotic Kelly Andrews.  Speaking of crazy, another perfect candidate for pregnancy would be Kelly Andrews [Cady McClain]. In a bizarre twist seemingly out of nowhere Kelly and Jack [Peter Bergman] end up in the utility closet at the Underground on Valentines Day tearing each other’s clothes off. After they had hot animal sex Jack got dressed and walked out like nothing ever happened.  At the time we wondered if Jack could be under the Jabot “Love Potion.” We have to believe this will come back and bite Jack in the behind and help push Phyllis off the deep end. Can you imagine when Phyllis finds out Kelly is pregnant with Jack’s baby? The earth will move and it won’t be an earthquake it will be the sound of thunder Phyllis’s voice!!

Of course SOSers we don’t know if any of these situations will come to pass.  These are just predictions, but if we are following tradition with The Young and The Restless most of these scenarios will happen.
