‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Horton Tradition Continues, Family Gathers to Trim Tree – John Alerts Marlena to Danger They’re Facing

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that a Horton tradition will continue. On Christmas Eve, nearly everyone with family ties will gather to place their ornaments on the tree. Salem is somewhat somber thanks to all the tragic losses and tough circumstances they’ve faced over the last few months. Nevertheless, everyone will try to enjoy the moment and spread some love this holiday season.

DOOL viewers have a special reason to tune in this year. This will be the last time we see the authentic versions of those homespun ornaments we’ve grown so fond of. They’ve been donated to the Smithsonian, which is good news if you plan on taking a trip to see them up close. Of course, the Horton tree won’t be bare next Christmas Eve. “Days” will replace the classics with reproductions so the tradition can carry on.

Other “Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that John (Drake Hogestyn) will give Marlena (Deidre Hall) updates on the peril they could both be in. Now that John knows about Eduardo’s (A Martinez) orders to kill him, he’s obviously worried about what lies ahead. Eduardo claims he won’t go through with his mission, but there’s undoubtedly someone out there who would be willing to do the job for him.

Marlena isn’t safe from the danger either. As we recently saw with Ciara’s (Vivian Jovanni) kidnapping, sometimes family members get caught in the crossfire. Trouble is clearly brewing for John and Marlena. If Eduardo doesn’t do as he’s told, there will probably be a target on his back, too.

Even Eduardo’s family could be at risk. We’ve already seen Eduardo warn Rafe (Galen Gering) about watching his back and keeping an eye on his sister. Gabi (Camila Banus) and Arianna (Sydney and Harper Udell) could be in harm’s way. DOOL rumors hint that there’s plenty of drama in the works. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” to see if Eduardo’s actions (or lack thereof) will cause a serious situation.
