‘Days Of Our Lives’ Comings And Goings News: True O’Brien Departs DOOL, Exits Role Of Paige Larson

The latest “Days of Our Lives” comings and goings news reveals that Paige (True O’Brien) is likely on her way out of Salem. DOOL rumors have been hinting at O’Brien’s departure for months and we now have confirmation. According to Jason47’s “Days” Facebook page, O’Brien will indeed be exiting the role in the near future. The 21-year-old actress joins the long list of departures and casting shakeups we’ve been hearing about recently.
Freddie Smith (Sonny), Paul Telfer (Xander) and Melissa Archer (Serena) will be making their final appearances later this summer. It was also announced that Brendan Coughlin (Tad aka “T”), Terrell Ransom, Jr. (Theo), Connor Kalopsis (Chase) and Lauren Boles (Ciara) are all done at “Days of Our Lives.” Even more characters are expected to be dropped or swapped for different actors as the new head writers, Dena Higley and Josh Griffith, take the soap in another direction. When Higley and Griffith’s scripts hit the screen in late August, you can expect a lot of changes. Many DOOL viewers are excited to see what the show has in store.
As for Paige, there’s no official word on how she might be written out. It seems likely that Paige will finally head to California and enroll in Stanford. Now that Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and JJ’s (Casey Moss) affair has blown up and the big reveal has fizzled, there’s not much left in Salem for Paige. It looks like Paige will give up on “Insta-date” and focus on her education. Of course, there’s always the possibility that Paige could be recast. However, there should be plenty of drama to fill the void if Paige is gone for good. “Days of Our Lives” has been doing just as much hiring as firing lately. Betwen Sonny and Will—–Will’s part is such a jerk—if he’s that paranoid, think he should have been X’d& keep Sony……..Glad Bo’s back.

I’m not sad to see Paige leaving, the story line has played out more times than necessary. How many times (and ways) can you say I hate you JJ? I am sorry to see that T is leaving. I thought his character could have been more developed but they never gave him enough air time or story line.
Paige and JJ need to get back together. Eve & Theresa need to leave for good.

I really had high hopes for paige shes a good actress. I could write a good storyline for her. JJ needs to have her back in his life. Especially after he busts the bad guy!!

I cannot believe you killed off Paige. Paige & JJ should had worked together to bring down the drug guys, then fall back in love. Take Clyde, Eve and Theresa off (sick of looking at them), bring back Melody to Brady, and move on. Tired of things dragging toooooo long!
Make Paige’s death a dream, a look alike (like you do for everybody else) and bring her back after the killer is caught (which I hope is soon).!!

I never liked Paige that much, she had no chemistry with JJ and seemed to be a polar opposite of him, acted as a buzzkill. JJ’s friends didn’t like her either. Bev would have fit in much better with JJ- surprised they weren’t given more of a chance together, especially after the Paige breakup. Bev was more fun, just as cute as Paige, and could have made a natural power couple for DOOL into the future!
Really going to miss Paige, and other cast members.. Just wondering, where did they all go???
It was bad enough when the writers sent Melanie away from Brady. Killing off Paige was the last straw for me. I’m done. I’ll use my time doing something else.
Glad they caught Clyde,Now get him out of the show.Why isit taking so long for them to find the bug in the mansion…..Stefino is not that stupid…and please tell me they will catch Ben soon and find out about the Lab Tech,and baby.This show needs to start over,it’s really dragging out…..
